object type: Hard dark red earthenware, appearing dark brown, thrown, incised, and decorated with slip-trailing in white which appears pale yellowish and olive-green under the lead-glaze. Bulbous pear-shaped body with cylindrical neck and loop handle. Around the widest part of the body is trailed G R WROTHAM WAK with groups of dots between the letters.
