    <value>Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed, speckled with manganese and painted in blue. The jug has a globular body resting on a low foot which is slightly concave underneath. It has a tall sloping neck, and a handle  which is rounded on the inside, concave on the outside, and has a long lower terminal. Round the neck is reserved area with a blue edging enclosing the name 'IOHN SELEMAN'.</value>
