    <value>Dark buff earthenware, the front tin-glazed and painted in blue,yellowish-green, yellow, dull orange, and manganese-purple; the reverse is lead-glazed greenish-yellow. Circular with curved sides and slightly everted rim, standing on a footring. The front is painted with Adam and Eve standing on either side of the Tree of Knowledge around which the devil in the form of a snake is entwined. On either side there are half stylized trees, and in the foreground rough stripes of yellow and green. The edge is encircled by a yellow band and blue dashes.</value>
