Circular with curved sides and everted rim, standing on a footring. The front is decorated with Charles II mounted on a rearing horse going to the right, with a tree on either side. He wears a crown and ermine-lined cloak and carries a sceptre. Above, are the letters C 2 (raised) and R for Carolus Rex.
