object type: Porcelain vase, with painted and printed underglaze in shades of blue (sometsuke).  The vase is rectangular in plan, and arrow shaped in elevation.  It is decorated on each side with a broad stripe between narrow broken lines, groups of spots, and marks resembling part of a finger print.  The interior is blue.

A mark has been impressed on one corner of the base, and inscribed 'Kondo' on the diagonally opposite corner of the base.
