object type: Buff earthenware, tin-glazed greyish-white, and painted in blue and brownish-red. Circular with a wide sloping rim, shallow well, and recessed base. The well is decorated with a central medallion enclosing a shore scene with a tower beside the sea and two small sailing boats, surrounded by a border of diaper panels and formal flower sprays with rhomboidal leaves, alternating with stylized baskets of fruit. The rim is encircled by a brownish-red line.
