object type: Buff earthenware, tin-glazed bluish-white, and painted in blue. Square with sloping sides and recessed and chamfered top and base. The top is pierced by five large circular holes with groups of three smaller holes between them. The holes are encircled by small spots, and a row of spots  runs round the edges. Each side is painted with an Oriental landscape with a man in a boat, and a building beside a willow tree on an island. A narrow line encloses the scene
