object type: Buff earthenware, the front tin-glazed and painted in blue, olive-green, yellow, and red; the reverse also tin-glazed except for the footring. Circular with deep curved sides, and slightly everted rim, standing on a footring with a broad base. The front is decorated with a central medallion framed by two blue concentric circles, enclosing a tulip flanked by two other flowers and straight leaves growing from a horizontal line with a blue area below. Around this is a border of split yellow and green leaves with blue leaves and yellow fruits between them. On the edge there are closely set blue strokes.
