object type: Buff earthenware, moulded, the front tin-glazed, painted in blue, yellow, brownish-orange, and manganese-purple, and sponged in blue; the back, covered with greenish lead-glaze. Circular with everted rim, and curved sides, standing on a footring. Decorated with William III riding to the left on a rearing horse. He is bewigged, and wears a crown and ermine-lined robe. Above his head are the letters K W. On the right there is a sponged tree; on the left, a low fence and a sponged tree; and in the foreground two low humps, and sponged bushes.The rim is encircled by a yellow line and blue dashes.
