object type: Reddish-buff earthenware, the front tin-glazed pale blue and painted in blue, yellow, and manganese-purple; the back covered with slightly bluish lead-glaze. Circular with shallow curved sides and everted rim, standing on a footring. Decorated with a full face bust portrait of William III, bewigged and crowned, flanked by the initials 'K' and 'W',  and surrounded by a wreath and a manganse circle.
