The interior is lead-glazed brownish-yellow. The exterior is slip-coated overall, and the sides and handle are thinly tin-glazed greyish-white. Painted in blue, green, and greyish-yellow. Shape 43. Ovoid with projecting base, short neck expanding towards the rim which is pinched at the front to form a lip; small strap handle. On the front, an ovoid blue `ladder' frame encloses a cock surrounded by greyish-yellow strokes representing grass.
