Circular, the rim divided into eight shallow arcs. In the middle is a pink rose on a stem with a spray of yellow-centred blue flowers, encircled by two gilt bands. Radiating from the bands towards the rim are eight small and eight large lozenge-shapes, each painted with a pink rose and leaves. Between them, eight irregular hexagons with a yellow ground and a reserved oval medallion in the centre painted with a stylised cornflower and leaves. Below and above the hexagon, a small and a larger rectangle filled with diagonally placed, red outlined ellipses with green centres. The triangular spaces which remain are filled with gilt fern fronds. All the geometrical shapes are outlined in gilt and there is a wide gilt band round the edge of the rim. The underside is decorated in Chinese style with a pair of concentric blue bands surrounding the mark, another round the outer edge of the footrim and a further pair by the edge of the rim.
