The circular bowl has deep curved sides and is supported on a short stem rising from a circular foot with a concave top. The cover has a narrow border, a high dome, and above that a circular platform with a beaded edge, on which is perched a small bird. The sides of the bowl are decorated with four swags, of alternately green and yellow beads, and with incised and painted plant motifs between them. Within the swags, is a geometrical pattern of three diamond-shapes filled with blue spots over incised horizontal lines, and with two green spots above and below. The cover is decorated with the same design but inverted, and the beads round the edge of the bird's platform are painted in blue.
