object type: Dark cream earthenware, decorated with applied moulded reliefs touched with cobalt, copper, and manganese oxides, and lead-glazed. The pot has a globular body with a crabstock handle and spout, and a slightly convex circular cover with a reel-shaped knob. The cover is pierced by a circular hole next to the knob. There are six reliefs on one side of the pot, five on the other, and three on the lid. The oxides have run into the glaze and there are blue splodges on and under the handle.
