object type: Eathenware, moulded over a hump mould, to produce the outlines of the design in relief, coated inside with cream slip, and decorated in ochre and dark brown slips under yellowish lead-glaze. the reverse is unglazed. The cream slip has not entirely covered the left edges of the dish so that the body is  visible.The dish has deep curved sides and a pie-crust edge.  In the middle there is a circular frame of alternately ochre and dark brown triangles enclosing a cock strutting to the right. On the sides there is a fleur-de-lys at 3 and 9 o'clock, a tulip at 6 and 12 o'clock and four  stylized star-shaped flower in the spaces between them.
object type: Slipware dish decorated in the middle with a cock within  circular frame of triangles, and round the sides with alternating fleur-de-lys, tulips and another flower.
