Rectangular with rounded corners, shaped pie-crust edge and, at each end, a handle composed of a cabochon between scrolls.
In the middle, a man supporting a vase of flowers on his shoulders, crouches on one knee on a pedestal, surrounded by an elaborate bérainesque frame of scrolls with a canopy at the top. Around this is a similar border comprising scrolls, foliage and diapered panels. The pie-crust border is mottled with manganese and has a narrow blue line round its lower edge.
