Rectangular with a projecting basin at the bottom. The Holy Family are situated in the middle of an ornate architectural setting with two columns on the left and a triumphal arch in the background. A bearded man leans over a balcony at top right. Two kings wearing hats approach from the right, and the third is either a man wearing a hat who is partly hidden by one of the columns, or a bare-headed man kneeling on the base of the other column. Below the figures, projecting from the middle of a balustrade there is a hemi-spherical basin for holy water, decorated on the front with a winged cherub's head.
