  </description>
  <description>
    <value>Coarse buff stoneware, thrown and turned, . Hemispherical body on a small low foot, with a pagoda-shaped cover. The exterior is covered with a semi-transparent grey-green glaze, which has been covered with a purplish-brown glaze. The sgraffito decoration has been incised through the upper lay of glaze to reveal the lower layer. The cover has been coated on the exterior with the same two layers of glaze. The interiors of both lid and bowl, except the fitted rims, and the underneath of the foot, have been covered with the grey-green glaze. The incised decoration comprises a vand of vertical lines around the body, interrupted by three motifs formed by comma-like lines, between horizontal bands. The glaze, particularly on the lid has a lustrous quality</value>
