  </description>
  <description>
    <value>Pale cream earthenware, tin-glazed overall. Three spur marks on the underside of the rim. Painted onglaze in green, yellow, scarlet, and brown enamels.
Shape 87. Circular, with alternating cusped and curved edge, producing six sides, sloping rim, and flat central area.
In the middle, a man playing bagpipes sits on a barrel. Beside him there is a man with a hurdy-gurdy who sits on a chair. Above are three butterflies, a fly and an exotic bird. There is a fence on the left of the barrel, and in the foreground to right and left, trees, flowers and an insect. The rim is outlined in brown.
