The vase is lamp-shaped with flaring mouths at either end and in the middle, and twelve holes pierced in the top to take the flower stems. The body is supported on a slightly conical circular foot. The sides are decorated with arrangements of Oriental style flowers and foliage, and on each end there is an oval panel containing a plant with two flowers surrounded by borders of wavy-edged leaves.
