The bowl (or deep dish) is circular with a wide sloping rim and curved well, standing on a wide, shallow footring. The interior is decorated with a three-quarter-length figure of a woman holding three seed pods or buds in her right hand. She has shoulder-length hair and a headdress with two yellow feathers on top. She wears a manganese-purple bodice with a yellow fichu fastened by a brooch, a yellow stomacher, and a blue, yellow and manganese-purple stripe skirt.
