Circular with deep sides, curving outwards at the rim, standing on a footring. In the middle, two warriors, perhaps Ulysses and Ajax, sit on a rock. The one on the left wears a helmet, tunic and cuirass, and holds a spear or staff in his right hand. He turns to his left to speak to a bearded man who wears a tunic and cuirass. In the foreground are grass, a stream and a stony path; on the right further back, two trees, and in the distance, blue hills and buildings.
