object type: Pale buff earthenware, moulded in two halves, which together resemble a bunch of asparagus tied together with tape, and painted in purple and dark yellow.  The oblong lower part has asparagus stalks on the base and sides,  and the smaller cover is similarly moulded and has a handle formed by a shorter curved stalk. The tips of the asparagus stalks are painted in graduated shades of purple, and the tape is dark yellow.
