The porringer has a depressed globular body with a short everted neck supported on three squat feet. It has two handles, and between them on the shoulder, a spout with a rounded triangular mouth. The shallow domed cover has a slightly conical button-shaped knob. The sides and cover are decorated with arrangements of flowers and foliage, and on the handles and spout there are stylzed fern-like sprays.
