On 8 February 1787 he recorded that he had bought from his brother Ralph Wood a pair of the same subject for 8s.0d. It is possible, however, that the first sale of figures, had also been supplied by Ralph, who at the time was in partnership with Enoch Wood. Both entries show that this group was in production by 1786-7.
