The cup stands on a footing, and has deep bulbous sides and a slightly everted rim. The circular cover is slightly domed and has a knob in the form of a rose on a stalk with three leaves. The cup is painted with four swags of foliage and flowers and has gilt lines round the footring and the outer edges of the handle, and a dentilated band round the rim, all mostly worn away. At the bottom of the interior there is a small floral sprig.
