The cup has deep curved sides and stands on a triangular footing. The sides are decorated in relief with three circular beaded frames, separated by vertical tapering lattice panels flanked by flowers. The frames enclose three different painted Chinese landscapes. Round the rim there is a 'key and cell' border, and round the footring, a single horizontal line. In the centre of the interior there is a floral spray.The circular saucer has shallow curved sides, and stands on a low footing.
