The dish is circular with a narrow rim, deep curved sides and flat base. The well is decorated with a bird incised through the slip to produce dark outlines, and having two short striped horizontal bands and a a longer rouletted band across its body. The rim is decorated with two different impressed and rouletted motifs repeated six times, separated by twelve small rectangles incised through the slip to reveal the dark body below.
