The unglazed back is very speckled, and has an iron suspension ring inserted into the porcelain behind the figure. The term is in the form of a winged boy who leans forward with his head tilted to his right, and holds both hands in front of him, the left slightly higher than the right, as if holding a pipe. His torso springs from a tapering fluted pedestal with a looped up drape at the top, and two small scrolls at the lower end which stands on a flat rectangular base.
