Interior: on the rim a band of pseudo-calligraphy is reserved in lustre. On the body likely celestial symbolism comprises six roundels on the body, each containing a seated figure, which surround a sun symbol with a human face on the base; all reserved in lustre. Filling the spaces between the roundels on the body, panels of triangular or irregular shape contain dots and scrolling vines painted in lustre. Exterior: rim is painted with a lustre band. On the body, panels of linear palmettes arranged in an arabesque pattern are painted in lustre. White glaze, with rare splashes of blue, terminates on the lower body or foot ring. The underside of the foot ring is coated with a thin covering of blue glaze.
