There is a suspension hole in the footring.The well has a white ground painted in polychrome with a gardening trophy comprising a basket, a cornemuse and a watering can tied with pink ribbon; a bird's nest and two doves; a spade, rake and a hoe or houlette tied with blue ribbon; a gourd, sprays of oak and olive leaves and a garland of flowers and foliage. The border has a green ground with three round-ended rectangular reserves, each framed by a gilt band, and painted with a spray of polychrome flowers and foliage. The reserves are linked by three swags of flowers with gilt crossed palms over the central one. There are gold bands round the inner and outer edges of the rim.
