    <value>Red stoneware with mould-applied sprigs. Cylindrical with shallow, curved shoulder, straight upward slanting spout, roll loop handle, and flat circular lid with a pierced ball knob. On each side is a man carrying a bird perched in a hoop at the end of a long staff followed by a woman with a parasol. The figures are enclosed in a framework of prunus-blossom and rococo scrolls, and there is similar ornament on the lid.</value>
