Shape: hemispherical bowl on a low foot ring.
Interior: below the rim a narrow frieze of triangles. On the body, panels containing a blue diagonal cross flanked by semi-ovals with black radiating lines. In the roundel, three lattice structures (possibly stylised pagodas) flanked by linear vegetation.
Exterior: the pattern on the interior rim and body is matched on the exterior, terminating here with a blue concentric band on the lower body and foot. The glaze extends to the underside of the base, where it is thin and blistered, but does not cover the rim of the foot ring.C.47-19111accession numberC.47-191175211priref75211urihttps://data.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/id/object/75211https://data.fitzmuseum.cam.ac.uk/id/object/75211rectangular paper label with serrated edge on all but the bottom edgeexterior base (underside of foot ring)hand written in pencil, printed in red‘133/3’ (hand written in pencil), printed with a red linelabelpainted directly onto vessel surfaceexterior base (underside of foot ring)hand painted in black‘1087’inscriptionreferenceagent-149638adlib-agent-1496387376d833-d0a7-3be0-916e-9c892b7a24d8The Fitzwilliam MuseumGiven by the Friends of the Fitzwilliam Museumreferenceagent-149645adlib-agent-14964510925b71-6838-30f7-a8dd-b68a2afaa14dThe Friends of the Fitzwilliam Museum191119111911-03-20givenEntry date: 1911-03-20180018001800circa18001899118991899circa1899referenceagent-149652adlib-agent-1496520d4f90dc-b166-3d4b-b0db-25f4118b6e98Unknownreferenceterm-106853adlib-term-10685325492eb4-1164-35eb-8dce-3601486f341519th Centurycolourlessreferenceterm-32652adlib-term-3265282d8ae3b-f165-395c-ba93-dfa1c282b7beglazewhitereferenceterm-34794adlib-term-34794de23d2db-1e19-38a6-9db0-80f062e799caslipreferenceterm-108851adlib-term-10885124e00e11-7f5d-3ad5-acda-1a5b13378105fritwareHeightcm16.6Weightg2867Widthcm38.1referencemedia-44595adlib-media-44595776fb077-0977-3e1d-aeda-873a9cad4e6fjpegaa/aa16/C_47_1911_281_29.jpg1heightpixels550widthpixels76016162614702341imagejpegaa/aa16/mid_C_47_1911_281_29.jpg1heightpixels362widthpixels50016162614702341imagejpegaa/aa16/C_47_1911_281_29.jpg1heightpixels550widthpixels76016162614702341imagejpegaa/aa16/preview_C_47_1911_281_29.jpg1heightpixels181widthpixels25016162614702341image0media
