DESCRIPTIVE DATA

object type: Red-dry-boded stoneware with engine-turned decoration.  The body is barrel-shaped with a slightly expanding mouth, an applied pounted lip, and a reeded strap handle. The whole of the exterior is decorated with turned roups of wavy horizontal bands.  The base is impressed with a pseudo Chinese seal mark.
