The stag is supported on an oblong wavy-edged base decorated with plants, and having a flowering tree stump in the middle at the back which serves as a support, and projects above the stag's back. The base is hollow underneath and has a circular ventilation hold under the tree stump. The stag is standing in profile with its left fore and hind legs advanced, and its head turned sharply to its left.
