The pear-shaped jug has a sparrow's beak lip, three applied feet moulded to resemble lion's paws, and an applied ear-shaped strap handle with an upward 'kick' at the lower end. A turned horizontal line runs round the upper edge, and another round the base level with the top of the feet.
