The body is squat and globular, with a high curved spout. The loop handle is thicker at the top than the bottom, and has a kick. There are three paw feet, with human masks above. The circular lid has a small flange which fits inside the teapot, and has a ventilation hole and short finial. On each side of the pot there is a plant with three leaves flanked by two birds. Below each plant is a large leaf, and above is a smaller leaf and flower.
