    <value>greyish white salt-glaze egg-stand consisting of a four leaves radiating from a central stem surmounted by the head of the Duke of Cumberland (?), each leaf supported on a boy's head rising from the corners of the square base</value>
  </description>
  <description>
    <value>Greyish-white stoneware, press-moulded in several parts, assembled, and salt-glazed. The glaze is tinged with greyish-green where it lies thickly and there is also a brownish olive dribble on one side of the base. The stand comprises a square base with incurved sides. On each of the four corners there is a boy's head supporting a concave leaf-shaped dish projecting from a central cylindrical support. This is surmounted by a man's head, perhaps that of the Duke of Cumberland, which is hollow and open at the top. The edges of the base are gadrooned and scrolled, and pairs of serrated leaves project upwards from each corner towards the central support. The inside of the leaves are deeply veined. The man's eyes have dark brown slip pupils.</value>
