The dish was made in two halves, which were joined together. The dish has an uneven base, and on either end of the sides has vertical lugs with holes in them, possibly for a wire handle. The domed cover has wavy edges, and an applied knob moulded in the shape of a recumbent cow. The surface of the dome has diamond shaped perforations in a diamond formation: four groups with four diamonds, and below them, four groups with three. The stand has a wavy edge, with a plain shallow well. All three pieces are decorated with panels of trellis diaper pattern flanked by scrolls, alternating with panels of wickerwork.
