The teapot stands on an octagonal base. The body is of rounded square shape with sloping sides, a stepped shoulder, and square neck. It has a faceted curved spout, and a roll handle with a kick at the lower end. The square slightly domed cover has a flange which fits inside the neck of the pot, and a knob in the shape of a crouching rabbit or hare. The lower part of the body of the pot is gadrooned. Above that, it is divided into four sections, each decorated with a wide band of plant motifs in relief with a man's bewigged head at each corner. The top of the cover is divided into four sections each decorated with tulips and other plants in relief.
