The mug has a large bell shaped body with a slightly flared lip, a wide reeded handle, and stands on a foot. The sides are decorated in imitation of Chinese famille rose with a lady flanked by a girl who is offering her flowers, and a boy holding a carafe and offering her a glass of liquid. To the right of them is a large flowering tree which over-hangs them, and a wooden fence. The rest of the jug is decorated with other flowering plants and blue rocks.
