The pear-shaped teapot has an applied loop handle and a slightly curved spout. The lid has an acorn knob. The teapot is painted on both sides with a flowering branch, dominated by a large pink flower. Around the mouth of the teapot is a border of half-flowers; the rim of the lid is bordered with the corresponding other halves of the flowers. The lid also has a floral spray either side of the handle.
