The underside is partially unglazed and has five stilt marks. The pot has a globular body standing on a circular disk base, a crabstock handle with two flattened areas on the top, and a slightly curved upward tilting spout, behind which the body is pierced by four holes. The flat circular cover has a ball-shaped knob with a central hole. A splodge of the blue dip has fallen inside the pot.
