In the shape of a gatehouse with a central tower flanked on each side by three adjacent towers of graduated size, all moulded with coarses of stoneware, castellated at the top, and hollow inside. They stand on an oblong, stepped base, which is concave underneath. Both sides are decorated alike. The central tower is painted with a door, a clock face, and a pointed window with tracery, and the smaller towers with small arched windows.
