The underside is closed. The three-sided base is in the form of a rock or mound with sloping sides and has a circular hole on its top behind the couple, who sit close together embracing. He has his left arm around her shoulder and she has her right arm around his. His right hand is placed on her knee and her left hand rests on his wrist. She wears a round cap, a low-necked open jacket with a sack back over a stomacher, and a full skirt. Her lover wears a shirt, a jacket and breeches.
