The long-tailed bird is perching on a tall tree stump rising from a mound base with wavy edges. The front of the stump is decorated with one large and two small rosette-like flowerheads on short stalks. The bird is facing towards the front with its feet on either side of the stump. Its head is turned sharply to the viewer's right, and it holds a large round berry in its beak.
