The lady stands on a shallow heart-shaped base with a low cylindrical support at the back. She faces towards the viewer with her feet neatly placed a little apart. She wears an open robe with a decolleté neckline,. yellow robings, and elbow-length sleeves with flounces, a stomacher, and a three tiered petticoat. She rests her lower arms on the top of the skirt which is extended at the sides by an elongated hoop worn underneath.
