The figure is well coloured. The man wears a blue jacket and vest and orange breeches, trimmed with gilt at the neck, wrists and knees; his long hair and shoes are black. The goat is white; moulding, red-brown enamels and shards of clay suggest its rough hair. The corn is yellow with red markings. The base and wall are green. The oval base has a rocky top, with a round indentation to the right. The underside is concave and glazed, with a central vent hole.
