The figure stands on a high dull pink plinth with incurved gadrooned sides, mounted on an octagonal straight sided base decorated with a yellow horizontal line imitating gilding. The woman stands with her feet together facing to the viewer with her arms raised to support a two-handled fluted and gadrooned urn which stands on her head and forms the candle socket. She has rosy cheeks and pale brown hair adorned with a black band and bow at the front. She wears classical dress comprising three tiers, a pale turquoise tunic (peplos), over a calf-length white skirt with a border of Greek key pattern, and a long pale blue skirt with a yellow edge. A pale turquoise cloak with a dark reddish-brown lining is suspended from her shoulders at the back by means of dark blue brooches and cross straps at the front. The urn is of the same dull pink as the plinth.
