The dish has a scalloped rim, deep curved and fluted sides, and stands on a footring which is pierced by two suspension holes. The centre is decorated with a eight-petalled flower imposed on an eight-pointed star surrounded by formal plant motifs. The upper edge is encircled by a border of eight linked lambrequins.
